A Recap
I'd heard about this slip-up and subsequent cover-up last week, but Keith Olbermann summarizes with just the right mix of fact, outrage, and passion.
So hot.
Where parenting and politics meet, but don't always play nice.

Oooohhh Kate ...
I was in The Springs last week!
(Colorado Springs, apparently, nobody in Colorado calls the city Colorado Springs .. they call it "The Springs")
And all I can say, after seeing Donald Rumsfeld at the Air Force Academy, driving by the welcome center to the "Focus on the Family" association, and touring NORAD and NORTHCOM, then catching Laura Ingraham on talk radio (not to mention the billboards for "It's a child, not a choice") ... You probably should walk around blindfolded, never speak to anyone, and never, ever turn on the radio.
Oh, I'm not kidding. I expect you'll be in your first fistfight by the end of week 1.
Uh, the mountains are pretty!
Cheers :-)

You sound like my husband! He's out there and reports all of the same findings.
I'm kinda scared...
Boulder's only what, 100 miles away? I recommend getting over your outdoors phobias and hanging out with CO's adventure sports culture. The politics are more to your liking and the eye candy fabulous.
True about Boulder, Kate, and Denver's not so bad, either. Hey,they are currently filming the real world here...heh heh...cool, huh? Anyway, there are more like you than you think down in the Springs and you will like it, I know it. :-) Can't wait to see you...xoxo
