Attention Fellow Teachers: Apparently those old, thick textbooks you've got lying around are good for more than just book learnin'. They can be effective shields as well. Kinda like Wonder Woman's bracelets.

I doubt that would work. I'm am sure the kids will not have the time to pull out the book and shield themselves with it. And whose to say the gunman won't take the books from them. That was one of the most rediculous things I have have ready lately. How about lets keep the guns out of the hands of nut cases.
