I'm Proud of John Edwards
I'm a little slow in posting this, but I want to go on record as saying I'm more in Edwards' camp now for this ballsy move.
We cannot allow ourselves to be silenced. Bullies who try to pressure employers to fire bloggers for broadcasting opinions must be made to fail. Miserably.
Go John Edwards.

I can only ask you....would the "left" be so kind to any "rightie" who had stated some similarly strong point about their "religion"????
Whatever you wish to place in the religion spot above......
The simple fact is that one side is quick to attack, and the other defend...but, in a reversed position the 1st side would also attack.
I hate the lack of true debate today, and the use of really offensive language (Jeebus???) in place of sound discourse.

Obviously, we have to take the bulk of writing to determine the character of the writer. Not just a few out of context quotes. If a right-winger politician hired a right-winger blogger - I might point out the views with which I disagree. However, I'd never mess with a person's ability to earn a living, not matter how much I disagree with what they write and do. That'd be way too fascist.
And facism is so not sexy.
