Oh Chamberlain, Oh Chamberlain
Ever true to thee.
The article doesn't mention that they renovated the place twenty years ago. I know. Cause I was there.
This is just another example of how our district is too big and bureaucratic to be effective.
Favorite part:
"The one thing that seems to help us," said Principal Boldt, "is to keep a constant flow of water in the P-traps," the U-shaped piping underneath sinks and toilets. That water flow keeps the sewer gas sealed in the pipes and out of the air.
Wonder how much that water bill is costing us?

Hey, who’s the new chick with the bodacious ta-tas? What happened to what’s-her-name?
So they are talking about a renovation of the school, with a few fluff expenditures of course. Well thats govt.
Im actually in favor of renovations versus tearing down and rebuilding. Their renovation currently is $2 million, plus the $6.5 million 7 years ago. Thats still FAR short of any new building, plus new site costs, etc.
I used to work for a company that did school bond projects in MI. Its very typical to need updates every 20-25 years. At least FL is not wasting money by tearing it down completely and building on a brand new site, and raising everyone's property tax rates in the area to waste that $50 million.
Holy crap - Coach Turner is still there???
That place was pretty much decrepit when we went there...I can't imagine! (At least I never saw any rodents!)
Goader, those ta-tas are gone. They only live on now in pictures and your memories...
Rich - this renovation should have happened years ago. CHS is a mess. And so is our district.
I was only looking in the area of the mischievous smile, so I wouldn’t know about all that.
Perhaps we come from different vernacular, but bodacious meaning remarkable and ta tas referring to where the eyes are drawn is all I meant.
