Cruelty isn't Entertaining
Please keep in mind when planning family outings this summer, whether in Florida or around the country,
swimming with dolphins
AND
watching whales, who are used to swimming thousands of miles every day, circle a tiny pool and jump/do tricks so they can eat...
is cruel.
Your kids deserve better. And so do our animals.

That reminds me, I need to go to pick up some 12 guage bird shot.
Other than that, my kids like Seaworld and the new Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, and they swam with the dolphins in Paradise Island, Bahamas about 8 years ago but said the water was cold.
The only thing worse than swimming with dolphins is watching the Dolphins (Miami, that is). I love the 'fins but they have been brutal lately.
I saw a show one time (on Nat'l Geo channel I think) that had like 4 cases of Dolphins lashing out and beating the piss out of people swimming with them.
Adults who attend marine parks or frolic with wild animals either don't care about animals, are ignorant about them, or want to prove they are the badasses they always though they were - so if they want sympathy after losing a limb they should grab a dictionary and look between shit and syphilis.
I do, however, feel bad for children who are harmed at such attractions. Like I said, they deserve better.
Happy hunting, rw.
Or more important, they know better than to let the opinions of others bother them.
Thanks for the kind reply. I'm really good at shooting and hitting my target. ;)
