Homeward Bound
I'm going home. To Tampa. In about two weeks.
Before you jump for joy or throw up, depending on your mood, my homecoming is Thanksgiving-related and sadly temporary.
Sadly temporary.
I will visit Berger King to make sure my wounds are healing nicely. I will wear dresses and allow my legs to come out and play for the first time since mid-August. I will hit Bo's Ice Cream and enjoy a cherry-dipped chocolate cone. I will kiss my parents and leave the children with them for extended periods of time so that I can wander around and...
What should I do?
Despite having lived in Tampa for most of my adult life, there are sights and sounds I've yet to experience.
If you had a week or so to frolic in Florida - what would *you* do?

Try a walk around Weedon Island.
Well, keep an eye out if the tour of urban homes in downtown Tampa is happening again.
Relax on the shore at Caladesi Island.
Marvel how they've ruined upper Tampa Bay with sprawl thru Oldsmar and the Westchase area.
Oh, harass me to get into Tampa to finally meet you. :)
.... book a flight to Denver?
MMMM Bo's icecream, we love that place. Hope all is well.
We should enjoy a happy hour sometime while I'm home.
Email me and we'll set it up.
Honeymoon Island, for sure. Bella's in Hyde Park. Lowry Park Zoo and/or TECO to see my manatees. Anywhere there is key lime pie.
I'd walk to the mantle at your 'rents home and notice that there are other people in the family photo. Even if your hair is blocking us.
Gee, wonder if things will change and I'll get a vote on what to do. I'm just dying to meet jpfdeuce and tell him how you and i used to hang out with Rob Zamuner
Two's company...three's a crowd.
I'll see you when we get back to The Springs.
Maybe you can visit Target. I saw you once there but didn't have the courage to speak to you. Maybe this time I will.
Stay in Tampa, it'll warm your cold blood.
