But how does Wyden's plan deal with the fact that he's still promoting private insurers and that those insurers are going to continue to lobby Congress to give them the right to choose who they insure while at the same time those insurers are going to finagle and squirrel out of paying for treatments and claims whenever possible. I don't see a "fix" here, just an institutionalizing of the U.S. government as the middle man and I think we all know how well that goes.
