Whatever and Ever Amen

Hillary continues to irritate. McCain only pretends to support the troops and instead turns his back on those who need help through college. The Democratic Party is counting half the delegates from Michigan and Florida. I got invited to join the Side Show Tent at the convention in Denver. The. Side. Show.

My boys are finished with school and I'm done with work. Hey, we haven't seen the Tetons or Yellowstone - how 'bout we blaze for Wyoming and Montana?

Later.

Feeling a bit left out, eh?

Yellowstone is VERY crowded this time of year, particularly on the weekends. The Tetons less so, depending on where you go. But there are a bunch of places between the Springs and there that don't get the crowds, but are great to visit. Two I like are Cody and Thermopolis, Wyoming - the former with the Buffalo Bill Museum, the latter with a really terrific dinosaur center.

Red Lodge is a fun place to visit. The pig races are a hoot and it is fun to watch a rodeo.

Cody's pretty cool. If you go to Red Lodge, one of the tee-shirt shops used to have a "Cook City Bicycle Shop" T in the window, which is my cousin Bill's shop in, well, Cook City. One of those places has a pretty neat hot spring in which you can relax. Can't remember which...
