What's Wrong With the Senate and Barack Obama?
They caved in. They refused to stand up to Bush and they refused to protect our civil liberties.
We should have gone back to the old FISA rules instead of granting immunity to the telecoms without first knowing what they did.
So which is worse? The Bush administration for pushing through such a law or the Democrats in Congress for allowing it to happen?

If you won't tell anyone, I'll let you in on a little secret. BO is sucking up to the moderates until he gets elected. Surprise...he's a politician. Once he's in, he'll head back to the left and give you the "change" you want. Relax.
Sorry, but I can't trust ANY politician. But the main point here is that while the President of the United States (POTUS) is an important figure, Congress is the leg of the government that needs the most cleaning up. They have much more of an impact in our lives than the POTUS.
Solution: Fire them all, elect new blood. Perhaps then they will get the message that if our elected officials don't meet our needs, then they are back to chasing ambulances.
