Attention Parents: Stop Celebrating

School starts this week. Hurricane Fay is also supposed to pay us a visit in the next few days. They say start of school could be postponed.

Come on! You gotta be kiddin' me!

Although...Husband woke up to forty degrees in Colorado Springs yesterday. So I'm not complaining. Not really, anyway.

They don't need to delay school opening. It's not going to hit til Tuesday night. The kids will miss Wednesday. Hopefully won't be too much to clean up, and back on the bus in the morning Thursday. There goes one of their holidays off. Either MLK or Presidents day.

Forty degrees in CO? Really? Its still August for God's sake.

Kids won't miss school of Web. They will miss school Tuesday. Fay will hit more than likely mid-day Tuesday if it stays on track and they need to open up the shelters (schools) probably Monday night.

My children were supposed to start school on Tuesday and now school's been canceled. Drat.

Kate, I think is better for them if they don't begin Monday, have Tuesday off, then go back, like most of our kids.

Probably better consistency for them at that age. No sub involved.
