I doubt I'll vote for Sarah, but her bathing suit deserves a Garth salute.
Again, Kate, I agree with your generally, but in this specific case, the terms of the debate have been defined by the McCain camp. Palin had a chance to redefine those terms, perhaps, with her speech. Instead, she went for simplistic attacks and factual inaccuracies. If the McCain camp isn't going to make this about the issues, then judging Palin and McCain by proxy on the sensationalism that they're offering is all that's left.
The exact same argument has been used against Obama from the start. Why should the rules now be changed for Palin for seemingly no other reason than she's a girl?
If "My Big Fat Greek Vice Presidential Nomination" cares to start debating issues instead of acting like a vicious lapdog, then by all means let's elevate the discussion. Until that happens, though, T&A will continue to stand for Tits and Alaska.

At least Kate's been consistent with her argument. She has stated (from what I remember) before that she didn't care about Obama's pastor problems or Edward's pussy problems. Where is Kate changing the rules?

Just like I've been with Obama, I'm willing to let Palin redefine herself or at least offer some more substantive reason to think she's a better choice than, oh, off the top of my head, Kay Bailey Hutchinson. So far, that's not the route that's been taken so I feel perfectly justified in judging her on the basis of what she's peddling.

I've heard conservatives say it's all right to go after John Edwards cause he "lied to us" and liberals say it's okay to go after Palin because she's a "hypocrite."
I still think it's all nonsense.

The smoking gun found out that the only thing in the documents that were requested to be sealed were that the divorcing couple owned a woods cabin type getaway home with the Palins, nothing else.
